Sun or Ascendant in Pisces with Ray 7

Plus Constellationally Transmitted R2 and R6

Only a rather mild to moderate mutual reinforcement of ray and astrological energies emerges through the seventh ray component of Jupiter, the exoteric ruler of Pisces. The seventh ray probably rules either the personality or the monad of Jupiter. If it rules the personality, then the influence of Jupiter would be more obvious and applicable to the average individual — as indeed it seems to be.

The category of mutual reinforcement would then be Moderate by Rulership, for the normal individual responding to the exoteric ruler. Perhaps the category moves towards Mild by Rulership, as one considers the lives of people who respond more fully to Pluto and the higher aspect of Neptune {neither of which express the seventh ray in any easily recognizable manner — though {let us ponder} Neptune rules the Eight Creative Hierarchy!

Jupiter, as well, rules the first decanate {in esoteric order} and the third decanate {in exoteric order}, thus increasing the Pisces/seventh ray mutual reinforcement for any individual born in either of those decanates. Probably, the influence is stronger in the exoteric third decanate which is the esoteric first, as if the seventh ray is the personality ray of Jupiter, the average person will respond more strongly to it than will the disciple or initiate.

Interestingly, the average non-aspiring person is said to be moving clockwise through the signs, and so, Jupiter and seventh ray would rule just before going into the last decanate of Aquarius {but for them, the first}, ruled by Venus.)

Discover Potentials to be Derived from
Energetic Similarities Between Pisces and R7

Utilize these similarities to further understand how these two energies may combine with or reinforce each other (for better of for worse) when they are found within the same energy system.

A.    Spiritualism: These influences combine in the area of spiritualism. Subtle influences (Pisces) are precipitated (seventh ray).

B.    Finality: These influences are closely related because Pisces is the last of twelve signs and the seventh ray is the last of seven rays. When they occur together, they bring with them the energy of finality—“Consummatum Est”. Thus they conclude experience upon the Mutable Cross. One wonders if they occur together on the Fixed Cross (at the time of the fourth initiation) indicating the opportunity to enter the Cardinal Cross.

C.    The Alpha and Omega in Relation to the Creative Hierarchies: In a certain respect, these two influences are the alpha and omega within the world of the Creative Hierarchies. Pisces rules the highest of the Creative Hierarchies (at least among those of which we have been told anything). The seventh ray (with Aquarius) rules the lowest of the Hierarchies. They cover the whole span of subhuman, human and superhuman development (within our range of apprehension).

D.    The “Highest and the Lowest”: Through the seventh ray, the “Highest and the Lowest Meet”. Aries is the first as well as last, and Pisces too, is the first as well as last. Pisces, in a way, rules that which is highest—for our purposes, Shamballa. As well, it rules that which is lowest, the unredeemed dregs of the previous solar system and the previous chain.

E.    Ceremonial Worship: These two energies, Pisces and the seventh ray, come together in the field of ceremonial worship—the province of Jupiter, which both rules Pisces and has a seventh ray component.

F.    Related to the First Initiation: This combination of energies will be effective at the time of the first initiation. Pisces ends experience upon the Common Cross preparing for entry upon the Fixed Cross at the time of the first initiation. The seventh ray is the ray governing this initiation.
