He undertook certain tasks, symbolic in nature, and passed through certain episodes and events that portray for all time the nature of the training and attainments which characterize the man who is nearing liberation. These webinars discuss the myth, analyze the labour, and show how they pertain to the life of the world disciple (each one of us).<\/p>\n

Pisces Labor \u2013 March 1, 2014 with BL Allison. The Capture of the Red Cattle of Geryon. The red cattle represent the lower desires, which the aspirant has to rise above. The shepherd is the mind, and the two-headed dog represents lower instincts and psychic nature. The mind is spared and is retrained to do right. However, the psychic-emotional nature and the matter aspect are slain, depriving them of any power. Geryon represents the three aspects of the personality that have to be purified for the soul. The purified form is the golden cup or Holy Grail, which enables the initiate to ascend above the worlds of men, into spiritual realms, become the World Savior and lift up humanity.

Capricorn frees the man from the Wheel of Rebirth so that he is an initiate, a world disciple and free to serve. For those who have not reached this level, they have yet to defeat the 3-headed dog, Cerberus, who represents the powerful personality that prevents the release of the inner spiritual essence. Developing a responsible attitude to humanity and learning to kneel in humility before the divine are important elements of this test.

In this sign, aspirants must weigh their thoughts carefully and learn to speak kindly, in order to minimize hurting others through harmful speech. Hercules discovers that although he may be an aspirant and he may have triumphed in Scorpio, he still possesses an emotional nature and he must do something about it. The birds in this myth that did the most harm were: cruel gossip; talk of the self, selfish talk; and casting of pearls before swine (talking about the occult troubles for which the hearers are not yet ready). The more you function as a spiritual entity, the more potent you become and the more harm you can do.

The heads symbolise \u2013 sex, comfort, money; fear, hatred and desire for power; pride, separativeness and cruelty. One by one, the Scorpio warrior has to destroy each head.

Learning to honor the good and beautiful and revere the spiritual aspect and life as being more important than outer material interests.

He must learn to carry that capacity of his into the temple of the Lord and there to see it transmuted into intuition.

The aspirant is tested in two ways: the caliber of his animal nature (sex and desire for material things) and the extent that glamour and delusion distort his perception of reality. The key to success is to rise above the desire nature into the guiding light (wisdom and restraint of the soul), then from that higher perspective, to guide and direct this force in pursuit of the higher good.
