In this series we are focusing on volume one of the Secret Doctrine, which is a translation of- and commentary on- one of the greatest source teachings ever given to humanity, the Book of Dzyan. These ancient writings, unavailable until publication of the SD, describe the passage from the formless realms of pure Being to the manifested universe in all its diversity.

 

The webinars are usually held on the 3rd Sunday of each month and will include charts, photographs, and other graphics. Attendees are encouraged to help read passages and to participate in an open discussion style of presentation.

Formats used:

mp4 video files can be watched on-line or they can be downloaded.  To download them, start the video and in the bottom right corner you will see 3 dots, click that and you will see the download option.

m4a audio files can be listened to on-line or they can be downloaded.  To download them, start the audio and on the play bar to the right side you’ll see 3 dots, click that you will get a download option.

Secret Doctrine 43, presented by Francis Donald, held on May 16, 2021. This month, instead of catching up with HPB’s travels as an introduction to our study, we read a story from ancient Atlantean times about a King, his young son, and one of the King’s trusted palace guards.  The Captain of the Guard was tasked with keeping the Prince safe, and gave his life doing so, vowing before he died that he would serve the King and Prince in this life and future ones.  Their story did continue in future lives, as we discover that the King is now the Master M, the Prince became Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, and the Captain of the Guard became Henry Steele Olcott.  We’re told the link has been kept unbroken and it will remain for ages yet to come.  We continued on with our study, exploring Stanza V from the Stanzas of Dzyan which form the foundation of The Secret Doctrine.

Secret Doctrine 1, presented by Francis Donald, held on Sep 17, 2017. This is the first webinar in an ongoing series of webinars on the occult masterwork, The Secret Doctrine, by H.P. Blavatsky. During this session, Francis looked at HPB’s life, one of the most extraordinary women of her– or any– time. Aside from being the most renowned occultist of her time, she was a concert pianist in Paris, fought alongside Garibaldi in the battle of Mentana, opened an occult school in Cairo, and walked through jungles to the Mayan temple ruins in southern Mexico. She and her constant companion, Colonel Olcott, were famous throughout India for championing Buddhists and Hindu beliefs in the face of the repressive policies of the colonial English politicians and missionaries, and throughout the world for founding the Theosophical Society. She was in regular contact with various Masters (including DK) who helped her to write her great works.
